ABOUT CHSD

Established in 1996, the Craddock-Hayes School of Dance has grown both in size and stature and continues to go from strength to strength. Beginning with a modest number of ten pupils, the School is now nearing 200 pupils.

Classes are held in Sittingbourne, and take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Teaching classes in Classical Ballet, Tap and Jazz  for children aged 3 and upwards, the Craddock-Hayes School of Dance creates a friendly and fun environment which welcomes children of all abilities. There are also opportunities for pupils to take examinations and yearly medal tests.

One of the highlights of the final term is the annual production, performed over two nights. Each year the profits go to a nominated charity which have included Demelza House Hospice, Macmillan Nurses, Swale Young Carers, the Childhood Liver Disease Foundation and most recently The MPS Society. To date, CHSD has raised well over £2,500!

2016 was a special year as it celebrated 20 years! The school performed a special anniversary show at The Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone.

Our next show will be taking place during summer 2018.
